Swinging your partner around

Basically, it is a very fast paced dance with a lot interaction with your partner to woo your partner. Even some are electrified by their partners. Like the girl in the picture below.

There was a lot of staring..

Even rejection,

The male attempts to stop her from leaving him but the female delivers a kick to the groin area leaving the male in agony..

Even with obnoxious facial expressions too,

Is this how you woo your partner? Wow..

Well, there was definitely a lot of intimacy going on that requires some secrecy..

But there was one pair who was so.. i would say, unique.

Its a dance of love people.. Not fighting.

Well, I didn't travel all the way from PJ area to KL pac only to watch the dance..

My friend, Jie Cong was competing in his first dance competition in the beginners category. Went there to support him with Alison, Ming Hui, Saunder, Arthur and Jing Tao.

Jie Cong's dance was rather interesting compared to the rest. It was packed with drama (so him) and it had a story. Well, Kudos to Jie Cong and his partner because it was a good way to impress the crowd without the need to do many sophisticated moves.

After all the dancers have performed, the dancers are required to come out to the dance floor and do a summary of their dance to impress the audience one last time before the audience cast their votes.

The moment of truth has come. It was the results.
Started off with the beginners category. I had that gut feeling that Jie Cong was going to get something out of his awesome act.

Well, true enough.. I was right!

After the prize giving ceremony,
the champions had to perform their dance once more.

This was the act that impressed the crowd.
