Stealing the limelight

View of the PJ's Civic Hall from the stage where WMS had Broadway Extraordinaire

Acoustics Echo

Event organised by Study Tour Club of HELP. Talented and aspiring musicians, beat boxers and even comedians performing to do what they enjoy doing for the sake of fund raising. The funds raised is going to finance their upcoming project which is a 3 day 2 night amazing race in Melaka.

Guess who I met

In case you do not know his name, u can refer to his name tag.

Well, he was there to help out as backstage crew. Did an awesome job of plugging and unplugging the wires connected to musician's guitar throughout the event. :)

Here are some photos of the performances,

The beat boxer

The Comedian

This guy is really good, because not only his jokes are good but he is comical too.. Even with a joke that isn't really hillarious, he can make the whole crowd burst into laughter because of the way he presents the joke.

One of his jokes:
I will now teach you how to difference a Chinese Movie or an Indian Movie if you are colour blind.

In a Chinese Movie, the person who talks the most will usually die and the person talks the least will survive in the end. * He does an impersonation of a mafia boss who talks a lot and ends up getting killed and the hero will talk after killing the mafia.*

In an Indian Movie, the person who talks the most will be the hero and survives.
*He impersonates a hero talking a lot to his enemies and ends up saving the day*

Well, it was his act that made this joke sound funny.

This is Phyo.
The organiser cum emcee.

The event was fairly good though the turn out was disappointing but i had a great time.

Can someone remind me to study?

Exam season for me here.. In fact the paper is tomorrow. STATISTICS paper, God help me with this please. I'm really bad at this paper.

Somehow, I just don't feel the exam pressure YET.. Maybe its the long study break.. (As if I studied during this period)

Whenever I open my book, I will just stare at the book blankly. Plus the fact that I'm studying in front of my TV allowing me to eavesdrop at the programme my mom is currently watching. Swt rite..

Even my ferocious looking dog that was watching over me did not help..

After studying for a while.. I took a break and went to my house balcony to get some fresh air.. I noticed something interesting and took my camera..

This is a view on the left side of my balcony facing my neighbour's balcony..

ZOOMED IN

Looks something like a square within a square and it goes on...

Crap... tomorrow's my exam and I'm still wasting my time taking pictures..

So, I really should concentrate on my studies..

Everyone is hoping to get that..

But what am I doing now?

An old family portrait consisting of my grandparents, cousins and me!

Which one is me tho? :)

Adeeeedas Advertisement?

My first Adidas shoe...

I'm not trying to BRAG about it but its the first time i've spent so much on buying a shoe. I got it from a warehouse sale that was going on recently. Its not exactly the shoe that I wanted though because most of the shoes displayed there don't have my size.

Why do i have such tiny feet larr..

My feet is only size 7.

And also warehouse sales always only have big sized shoes and Xtra large shirts.. Its like a good shopping place for big sized people and thin people with small feet like me always get left out.

Bought the shoe for RM 174.90 ( ori price - rm 244.90)
Good buy?

Anyhow, I should be grateful that i finally owned a Adidas shoe.

Look Out!

Yeap..
after some busy hours in college and procrastination at its max this week. I've finally forced myself to blog about this place called Look Out Point at this odd hour. *yawn* Well, my aunt from Australia had been in M'sia for the past month and will be leaving soon back home. So, we went for dinner and ended up in a scenic spot called Look Out Point which I didn't even know it existed.

Its some tourist spot where the night view of KL can be seen. Used to be a quite a quiet place with only a small restaurant which was a nice place to enjoy the tranquility of the breeze in the mountain while gazing at the night skies of KL. Also used to be my cousin's secret place to bring his girlfriend to pak toh.. hehe.. But its not so secret anymore because there are now around 3 or maybe more restaurants around there which is constantly packed with people. The whole place have been converted to like a "mamak" hang out place but no mamak restaurants larr..

Me and my family were trying to find places to sit and we ended up in a restaurant called The Haven. We enjoyed the night scenary of KL but it was still bloody hot tho.. Something is wrong with the weather nowadays.

The following photo consist of my family.

There will be one ANG MOH.

He is married to my Aussie aunt...

THUS,

he is my UNCLE!

Lol, yea i know i put it in a lame manner..

Presenting the night view of KL!

FYI: for a better view, you can click on the picture to link to my picasa web and view it at a larger size

After the yumcha in look out point. I bugged my parents to take me to KLCC..

My parents also brought me to Dataran Merdeka.. Apparently, there was some work going on to set up for a marathon race for the next day..

Ok.. dats all, i'm better go catch some sleep now..
